Hope

There is a famous Hindi saying, “उम्मीद पर दुनिया कायम है|”.

However dark the times may seem, there is always a sliver of light that passes through the cracks, that sustains the human spirit, that gives hope for a better, brighter future ahead.

Here is a conceptual painting on this theme. A seemingly dead tree trunk can still sprout a new leaf. A dying candle can still burn bright. There is always hope, in every situation. Better times will always come.
