Mugdha is a self-taught artist, born and raised in New Delhi, India. She did her Bachelor In Science (Honours) in Physics, from the prestigious St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. She followed it up with Masters In Information Technology, again from the University of Delhi.

Mugdha is now based in the bustling, beautiful and historical city of Pune in Maharashtra, India.
After having worked as a Software Professional for more than a decade, she took a break from her career owing to family commitments. When one door is closed, another opens. Using the time at hand, she once again turned to per pet childhood hobby, ART.

Art has indeed become her passion. Daily art practice is her stressbuster. She started experimenting with various media, surfaces and art forms Started off with soft pastels, color pencils and charcoal – the dry media. Gradually, moved on to watercolors, gouache, acrylics and inks. She dabbles in chalk paints and markers of many types too. Mugdha’s core areas of interest now are painting with watercolors and acrylics.
